This is the town of Comillas. |
Hello sorry for not updating my blog in a super long time, but i have just had so much going on and forgot about my blog! I have been doing so much with my family, friends and other rotarians. I have been taking trips to many different cities and really experiencing the Spanish life! I have been to Santander with my family twice, which is next to their second house in the north in the town of Comillas. Also, we had a break in the beginning of December that my family spent in Comillas as well, but we took a trip up to the Pyrenees to the other little town, and I can easily say it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I have been enjoying my time here SO much! It is a little colder then I am used to, the humidity kills! And the heating systems are not quite functional, and my blankets are soo cold! Christmas is in a week and i will miss not skiing on christmas morning, but i am also super excited to experience my christmas here in Spain. We will celebrate christmas, but also 'Los Reyes' or the three wisemen. The celebration of the three wisemen is more important and popular here. I will update again soon!
Merry Christmas to all!

hi Sarah, great to hear your last update and to see some of your photos. Sounds like you're keeping busy and making the most of your time in Spain! Belated wishes for a merry Christmas and a happy 2011. This coming weekend we will host all of the inbound students in district 5450 for the annual ski weekend at Copper. I've invited next year's three outbound students to join us: Elle Eastman (Switzerland), Jennie Matlock (Argentina) and your neighbor Christina Montgomery (Finland). I've listed your blog site in Rotary's weekly newsletter here, and will encourage everyone to check on your latest updates.
